Seadek

Postby rbunz » Mon Jan 27, 2020 2:13 pm

Was just at the Seattle Boat and saw numerous vendors who had SeaDek type products. Most knew of Camano's but none had the templates for the swim step and cockpit. Has anyone done this? If so who did it and what was the cost?

I am more interested in getting the swimstep done and if its not exorbitant the cockpit. We usually will have a mat on the swimstep but once or twice a season will forget it and the wake take its off and its gone.

Hi

I had it done, I used Marine Mat. did both the cockpit and the swim platform. I had it professionally done, measurements and all, but to be honest, It would be pretty easy to do yourself.

All the measurements were just a copy of the nonskid.

And to install you just clean and degrease your decks and stick it down. really easy...

I keep my boat on a mooring and the decks are slippery getting of the dingy, but with the mats down, there is no slippage. and looks great. I have many people come to look at it and comment on it.

I highly recommend..

I think I put pictures up on here a while back...

I think it was around $1800, much cheaper if you template and install yourself. I actually think a sheet is like $200 My boat is also not near a dealer, so I had to pay a bit extra.

Thanks for posting the picture and the cost. It looks great. One more thing to add to my list of possible improvements!
